You are responsible for the delivery of a fully verified physical design, which meets all technical requirements. The standard flow exists of floorplanning, placement, (toplevel) routing, verification and design finishing. This is done in a Cadence design environment combined with appropriate tool and process knowledge. Physical design is done for different applications and in many technologies. You are expected to manage the PD phase from start till tape-out which means that you are responsible for planning, requirements, documentation, reviews, quality, leading physical designers and progress.
Next to executing projects you would also need to chair improvement meetings, maintain technology specific documentation and participate in other quality and knowledge driven meetings.
• Good knowledge of electronics (Bachelors)
• 8 years of experience
• Strong experience with Cadence (Virtuoso)
• High frequency / mmwave design knowledge (pre)
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible, enterprising and team player

12 month contract.

Maximum rate 60 euro/hour.
